The story of TeamBranch

Passionate about politics, gaming, tech and sports, I launched TeamBranch with a simple idea: "What if you could build your dream team and instantly share it with your friends?"

The challenge was to pick from millions of personalities without the hassle of uploading photos, while ensuring a clean and consistent visual output. Today, TeamBranch is evolving. I no longer just want to offer you a creation tool, but a story machine. Whether your stories are epic, funny or totally absurd, it's your imagination that takes over.

The creator's note : A social worker by day, I develop and optimize this site in my free time. My goal is to improve TeamBranch version after version, while maintaining a balance with my family life 😊. Your feedback is precious, feel free to send me suggestions via the contact page.

Version 2.1 — Bigger, faster

A big update that makes TeamBranch significantly faster, opens up two new sports, introduces the first challenge mode, and lays the groundwork for the World Cup mode coming this summer.

Performance improved in depth—The site has been reworked to load faster everywhere: recompressed images, self-hosted fonts, optimized layouts, lighter zombie mode. Sport pages now load up to 2× faster.

Two new sports: Cricket and Ice Hockey—Build your NHL lineup or your cricket team in two dedicated layouts, each with their own positions, formations and cinematic. Full coverage across the relevant countries.

Challenge mode for basketball (first version)—Create a basketball challenge, share the link, your opponent builds their starting five and a simulated match decides the winner. It's a first version — we're still polishing it, but you can already have fun with it.

Football Season and World Cup mode (coming soon)—Major work in progress to finalize the season mode and the World Cup mode, ready in time for kick-off. Goal: you will be able to take your squad through an entire international competition.

5 new countries—Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Jamaica and Ghana join TeamBranch, each with their own sport teams and localized content.

Ads integrated with respect for your experience—TeamBranch stays free. To keep the site running, discreet advertising has been integrated, with care never to pollute navigation, slow down loading or break the layout.

Better visibility on Google—A big push on indexing and SEO: 98 countries with hand-crafted titles and descriptions, cross-links between sports, and a reworked technical structure so search engines finally make sense of the TeamBranch universe.

Version 2.0 — The Era of Survival and Seasons

This major update marks a turning point in the site's interactivity.

New Mode: Zombie Survival—A brand new template to test your team against the apocalypse. Which of your friends or idols will survive?

Sports Season Engine—Sports templates (Basketball, Football, etc.) now include a narrative engine. Don't settle for just a score, discover the full story of your season.

Local Homepages—Creation of a homepage per country (FR, US, ES...) to highlight community creations and facilitate group sharing.

Boosted database—Integration of 70,000 personalities internally. The site becomes faster, more stable and more independent from external APIs.

Version 1.0 — The Genesis

This is where it all began. The goal was to lay the foundations for a universal and accessible creation tool.
